Ioanna Christopoulos

Ioanna Christopoulos has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific communications, medical writing, and medical technology. In 2022, they worked as a Genetics Client Services Consultant at Next Biosciences. Prior to that, in 2022, they worked as a Freelance Editor at Cactus Communications, where they gained one year of experience in scientific communications and medical writing. Their role involved editing scientific and academic papers in the fields of Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. From December 2020 to January 2021, they worked at Vitruvian Medical Diagnostics as a Sperm Morphology Image Capturer. In this role, they gained experience in training Artificial Intelligence in identifying abnormal sperm morphology by analyzing and capturing images of sperm under a microscope.

Ioanna Christopoulos began their education at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Ioanna completed this program in 2020. In 2021, Ioanna continued their education at the same institution and obtained an Honours degree in Human/Medical Genetics.
