Jaakko Parikka

Jaakko Parikka has a diverse range of work experience in various HR roles and IT positions. Jaakko'smost recent position was as a People Services Manager at Next Games, starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a People Operations Specialist at Next Games from December 2017 to October 2019.

Before joining Next Games, Jaakko worked as an HR Generalist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from April 2017 to November 2017. Jaakko also gained experience as a Junior Advisor at Technology Industries of Finland from December 2013 to April 2017.

Earlier in their career, Jaakko served as an HR Manager at Go On Yhtiöt from June 2012 to October 2013. During their time there, they handled various HR responsibilities, such as improving HR collaboration, developing HR metrics, and implementing HRIS systems. Jaakko was also responsible for ICT infrastructure and internal communications.

From November 2009 to June 2012, Jaakko worked as an HR Specialist at Alma Media Corporation, where they supported group support functions and Marketplaces business units. Jaakko was responsible for HR metrics and reporting on a group-wide level.

Before joining Alma Media Corporation, Jaakko gained experience as an HR Specialist at Oy Orthex Ab from April 2008 to November 2009 and as a Recruiter at Staffpoint Oy from September 2007 to April 2008.

Earlier in their career, Jaakko worked as an IT Specialist at VTI Technologies Oy from March 2007 to September 2007. Jaakko also served as a Processing Operator and Team Leader during their time at VTI Technologies.

Jaakko'scareer began as an Assistant AD at Content Bakery Oy from January 2005 to July 2005.

Jaakko Parikka obtained a Vocational Qualification in Business Information Technology from South Karelia Vocational College between 2002 and 2005. Jaakko pursued further education at Tallinn University from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a major in EU law and a minor in international law.
