Rizwan Qamar

Rizwan Qamar has over 15 years of experience in quality engineering and quality systems management. Rizwan is currently serving as the Sr. Director - Global Quality at Next Science since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Medtronic from 2012 to 2021, holding various roles including Sr. Quality Systems Manager, Manager of Manufacturing QE, and Principal QE. Before joining Medtronic, Rizwan worked at Boston Scientific from 2006 to 2012 as a Quality Engineer and Process Engineer.

Rizwan Qamar completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology, Purdue University. Rizwan then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Technology from Purdue University, which they obtained in 2010. Later, Rizwan enrolled in the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rizwan has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Biomedical Auditor, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, Masters Certificate in Project Leadership and Systems Design from Cornell University, and Medtronic DRM Green Belt Certified from Medtronic ST Neurosurgery.
