Jeff Ottens

Jeff Ottens is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Acceleration Academies since July 2022. With a strong background in operations and business development, Jeff has held significant roles such as Senior Director of Operations at Tempus, Inc., and Chief Financial Officer at Modern Teacher, where various responsibilities included executive leadership and strategic oversight. Additional experience includes mentorship at VentureSCALE and active investment through self-employment since 2016. Jeff also founded and successfully exited Servpro of Winnetka/Wilmette/Skokie. Jeff holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
