Ruwan Gunapala

Ruwan Gunapala is an experienced professional in the supply chain and merchandising sectors, currently serving as Country Head for Next Sourcing Europe since January 2024. Previous roles include Director of Supply Chain at Crystal International and Head of Marketing & Merchandising at SQ Group. Ruwan has also held leadership positions such as Chief Marketing Officer at Fashion Garments - Vietnam and General Manager roles at Next Sourcing Limited, Courtaulds Clothing Lanka, and Christy Lanka. Ruwan's career began at Next Sourcing Limited, where significant contributions were made from 1998 to 2018. Ruwan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colombo, attained between 1995 and 1998, and completed secondary education at D.S. Senanayake College from 1979 to 1991.
