Suraksha Fernando

Suraksha Fernando is an accomplished professional in the fashion and apparel industry, currently serving as an Assistant Product Developer at Next Sourcing Limited since September 2023, focusing on creating digital art for kids' wear and managing design projects. Suraksha also holds the position of Creative Director at Hue Concepts, emphasizing art, fashion, product design, and eco-sustainability practices since January 2022. Previous experience includes a temporary lecturer role at the Open University of Sri Lanka, as well as junior designer positions at Buddhi Batiks and RM Holdings [PVT] LTD, alongside industrial training and internship experiences at Rusalu Clothing [PVT] LTD and MAS Holdings. Suraksha earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Open University of Sri Lanka and has diplomas in Information Technology and Graphic Designing from ESOFT Metro Campus.
