Lifu Wu

Wu Lifu is a highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development and system architecture. At NextBillion.ai since November 2020, Wu has significantly improved the performance of map routing APIs, implemented services for real-time data synchronization and object tracking, and enhanced security measures for API key authentication. Prior to this, Wu served as Engineering Manager II and Senior Backend Software Engineer at Grab from July 2016 to October 2020, where leadership was demonstrated in managing a team to support GrabFood operations and scaling services for transport bookings. Wu’s career commenced as a research assistant intern at the Sensor-enhanced Social Media Centre (NUS) from May 2014 to June 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, along with education in Computer Engineering at National Tsing Hua University and earlier schooling in China.
