Before that, Cory gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Western Oregon University, where they investigated the plausibility of a theory regarding the end of the Clovis Culture and the Younger Dryas climatic cooling event.

Cory also participated in the Research Experience for Undergraduates program at the National Science Foundation in 2008.

Cory Perkins, PhD, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Western Oregon University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to their university studies, Cory completed their high school education at McKay High School from 2000 to 2004.
