Sean Rinas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sean currently holds the position of Head of Network Operations at NEXTDC, a company they joined in 2020. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Technical Provisioning Manager at Macquarie Telecom Group.
In 2018, Sean was self-employed and worked as a Construction/Demolition Expert, where they handled various tasks such as lifting heavy objects, using hammers and saws.
From 2015 to 2018, Sean worked at Macquarie Telecom Group, first as the Head of Network & Engineering and later as the Network Operations Manager. During this time, they were responsible for managing a team and ensuring smooth operations of the network and engineering departments.

Sean Rinas has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Sean later pursued further education in management, completing a Diploma of Management at the Australian College of Commerce & Management in 2011 and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management at the same institution in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Sean has obtained several certifications, including "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" and "How to Manage Your Manager" from LinkedIn in January 2022, as well as the "Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist" from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2021.
