Asia Dubois has gained significant work experience in various roles and industries. In 2019, they worked as a Reading Tutor at DC Reads. In 2020, they were a Communications Assistant at Georgetown University. From 2021 to 2022, they held the position of Web Design Intern at NASA Ames Research Center and also served as a Code2040 Fellow. In 2021, they joined Students of Georgetown, Inc. where they worked as a Software Developer, IT and later became the General Manager, IT until 2023. Asia also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Nextdoor in 2022. Currently, they are working at Nextdoor as a Software Engineer starting from 2023.
Asia Dubois has a strong education history in the field of computer science and graphic design. Asia obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgetown University, where they attended from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, Asia earned a High School Diploma in Graphic Design from Design & Architecture Senior High School, attending from 2015 to 2019. During their high school years, they also participated in a Summer Pre-College Program in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Asia has obtained several certifications in various areas of technology. In 2021, they completed the Architecting with Google Compute Engine program offered by Coursera and Google. Asia also obtained certifications in Monitor and Log with Google Cloud Operations Suite, Perform Foundational Infrastructure Tasks in Google Cloud, Set Up and Configure a Cloud Environment in Google Cloud, and Google Cloud Essentials, all provided by Qwiklabs.
Furthermore, Asia has completed additional training programs in technology, including AWS Training and Applied Intelligence Training offered by Accenture. Asia also obtained certifications in Create and Manage Cloud Resources and SAP Training from Qwiklabs, as well as Drupal CMS Training from NASA Ames Research Center.
