Can Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

From 2020 onwards, Can Zhang has been working at Nextdoor as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, responsible for leading a team of 8 engineers and overseeing the development and operations of the marketplace feature.

Prior to that, Can Zhang worked at Wave HQ from 2015 to 2020. Initially as a Software Developer, then as an Engineering Lead, and finally as an Engineering Manager. Can Zhang's role at Wave HQ involved a mix of management and individual contributor work, with a focus on programming/dev ops tasks.
