Gary Morris

Gary Morris currently serves as Vice President of Distributed Generation at NextEra Energy, Inc., leading solar and storage, distributed water, and on-site resiliency business units since September 2018. Prior to this role, Gary held various leadership positions at Duke Energy Corporation, including Executive Director of Distributed Generation, where responsibilities spanned late-stage development and community solar projects, and Director of Forecasting Planning and Analysis, overseeing financial planning for Duke Energy's renewable and regulated business units. Gary's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Strategy and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Elon University.
