Kalyani Abhyankar

Kalyani Abhyankar is currently serving as Project Director at NextEra Energy, Inc. since November 2024. Previously, Kalyani held various engineering roles at California ISO from June 2015 to November 2024, progressing from Operations Associate Engineer to Lead Operations Engineer. Kalyani also worked at NYISO as a Planning Associate Engineer, focusing on system modeling for the New York Control Area. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Portland State University and a research project on the impact of harmonics from electric vehicle charging stations. Kalyani's career began as a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Crompton Greaves and as a Project Trainee at The Automotive Research Association of India. Kalyani holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from AISSMS IOIT in Pune.
