Gabriel Castañaza

Gabriel Castañaza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in game design and software engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Game Designer at Castañaza.com since April 2022, Gabriel also holds the position of Lead Mobile Engineer at Nextern, where contributions include developing front-face applications for patients and clinicians. Previous roles include CEO of Trazer.app, Director of Software at 0MN1 Costa Rica, Senior Software Developer at EX2 Outcoding, and Senior Software Engineer at Qanta, where a passion for interactive experiences in VR, AR, and video games was developed. Gabriel began a career in mobile development as CTO of Mobile Ease and has a foundational background in web development from roles at Exceltec Business Solutions, BM centro de capacitacion, and Poptún Vive. Education was obtained at Universidad de Costa Rica from 2013 to 2015.
