Gustavo Quesada

Gustavo Quesada is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in the medical device and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as General Manager of Operations at Nextern since January 2021, Gustavo previously held various key positions at Abbott from December 2009 to January 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing for Class II and III medical devices and leading a workforce of over 300 employees. Prior experience includes roles at Baxter Healthcare as a Product and Process Engineer and at Hanesbrands Inc. in multiple positions including Production Superintendent, showcasing a strong background in continuous improvement and quality initiatives. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica and experience as a university professor, Gustavo combines technical expertise with leadership skills in managing diverse teams and driving operational excellence.
