Lauren Ayala

Lauren Ayala currently serves as the Assistant Deputy IT Manager at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since June 2023 and has been a Program Administrator at NextGen Cyber since March 2021. Previous roles include Team Lead Manager and Technical Project Manager at Nuro from March 2022 to May 2023, and Teaching Assistant for the MICS Cryptography for Cyber and Network Security course at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2022 to April 2023. Lauren's prior experience also includes Information System Security Officer and Sr. Systems & Network Associate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Computer Infrastructure Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, and various technical and support roles at All Covered, Accretive Solutions, and Petz Enterprises. Lauren holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from the University of Southern California, a Master of Information and Cybersecurity from UC Berkeley, and multiple degrees and certificates in Information Technology and related fields.
