Vlad Lapadatescu

Vlad Lapadatescu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vlad is currently working at Nexthink since 2020, where they have held multiple positions including Engineering Manager, Engineering Group Lead, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering. Prior to Nexthink, Vlad worked at Gamaya from 2015 to 2020, where they held the position of Head of Software Engineering. Before that, they worked at the California Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015 as a Research Engineer, where they were responsible for integrating network management capabilities into CERN's experiments. Prior to that, Vlad worked at CERN from 2010 to 2013 as a Research Fellow in Openlab, working on a research project in collaboration with HP. Vlad also gained experience at Schlumberger Information Solutions as a Software Developer Intern in 2009, where they improved reservoir engineers' interaction with modeling and visualization software. Additionally, they worked at WesternGeco as a Software Developer Intern in 2008, focusing on integrating electromagnetic data into oilfield modeling. Vlad also worked at SupporTech INSA.Net from 2006 to 2008, providing technical support for Microsoft-related issues to network administrators. Lastly, they interned at Schlumberger Information Solutions in 2007, where they developed a prototype module for their modeling and visualization software. Throughout their career, Vlad Lapadatescu has gained extensive experience in engineering, software development, and technical support roles.

Vlad Lapadatescu completed their education at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a BSc + MEng degree in Computer Science.
