Rob Rovetta

Rob Rovetta has over 35 years of work experience in the wireless industry. Rob began their career in 1982 as a Systems Engineer and Program Manager for Loral/Rolm MSC (formerly Rolm Corporation). In 1991, they became the Business Manager for Trimble Navigation, where they were responsible for strategic planning, marketing, business development/partnerships, product development, contract acquisition, and P&L management. In 1996, they moved to Magellan GPS (formerly Ashtech, eventually Thales) as the Marketing Manager of the OEM Precision Products Business Unit, where they managed a team with responsibility for strategic planning, major account business development, strategic partnerships, product definition/management, and competitive analysis. In 1999, they joined SnapTrack, Inc. as the Director of Product Management, and in 2000 they moved to Qualcomm as the Senior Director of Product Management. From 2007 to 2015, Rob worked as an Independent Consultant providing technical account management and program/project management for wireless carriers, base band chip providers, phone and wireless device manufacturers, and wireless infrastructure providers. Rob also managed end-to-end indoor location system trials and evaluations performed for the FCC & CTIA organizations. Since 2018, they have been the Vice President of Program Management for NextNav LLC, where they are responsible for Program and Product Management, as well as external Project Management for wireless carriers, wireless phone/device partners, and 3rd party mobile SW app developers.

Rob Rovetta graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and RF Systems.
