Sammaad Shams is a highly experienced professional who has worked in various finance and accounting roles. At NextNav, Sammaad serves as the Chief Accounting Officer overseeing finance operations and mentoring a team of accounting staff. Previously, at MBO Partners, Sammaad was the VP & Corporate Controller responsible for financial reporting and cash forecasting. Prior to that, at Mars, Sammaad led global accounting standard implementation efforts and financial consolidation processes. Sammaad's background includes a stint at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager, where Sammaad directed a tech company through an IPO and led teams in various audit and compliance functions. Sammaad holds a degree from Texas McCombs School of Business.
