Elizabeth Guthrie has held various roles in the media and journalism industry since 2017. Elizabeth began as a Tour Guide for Northwestern University Office of Undergraduate Admission, where they gave campus tours to prospective undergraduate students and answered questions about student life, academics, and student resources. In 2018, Guthrie worked as a Website Manager for One Book One Northwestern, writing, editing, and publishing articles using Cascade CMS, developing a calendar to ensure each event was covered, and producing a video to showcase the organization's events and accomplishments. Elizabeth also worked as a Research Assistant for the Department of Sociology at Northwestern University, investigating the relationship between Latino civil rights advocacy groups and the immigration debate. Additionally, Guthrie was a Videographer for the Undergraduate Learning Abroad Office, a Reporting Intern for ROOSTERGNN Global News Network, and a Blogger and Peer Editor for bSmart Guide. In 2019, they were an Editorial Intern for Dotdash, writing and researching ideas for new content and editing content to improve organization and structure. In 2020, Guthrie was a Marketing Coordinator for UMF Corporation - PerfectCLEAN\u00ae and an Editorial Intern for ElCanciller.com, where they wrote articles in Spanish about topics such as American politics and the COVID-19 pandemic, filmed and edited videos for PR clients, and edited and produced videos on news topics. Currently, Guthrie is a Content Writer for Nextpoint.
Elizabeth Guthrie graduated from Northwestern University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Elizabeth also attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2018 to study Spanish Language.
