Brett Hyland

Brett Hyland is the current VP of Marketing & Business Development at NeXtraction. Prior to joining NeXtraction, Brett held various positions in marketing and business development at different companies. Brett started their career in 1990 as a Regional Marketing Manager at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Brett then became a Financial Advisor at Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. in 1988. In 1999, Brett transitioned into asset management and became the Regional Sales Director of Institutional Investments at Safeco Asset Management Company. Brett left Safeco in 2003 to join Wall Street Associates, LLC as their Vice President of Marketing. Brett left Wall Street Associates in 2010 to join Zapproved as their Venture Capital Funding Specialist. Brett left Zapproved in 2011 to join Morrison Street Capital, LLC as their Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. Brett remained with Morrison Street Capital until 2015 when they joined NeXtraction.

Brett Hyland graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Communication Studies.
