Anjali Shingala has a diverse work experience. Anjali began their career in 2015 as a Staff Accountant at Olde Towne Inn. In 2016, they took on the role of Historian for the Virginia Tech Chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Additionally, they served as a Galipatia Leadership Team Member, Outreach Committee Member, Mentor, and Program Assistant at the Virginia Tech Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist and Analyst and XC Software Developer at Excella. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Nielsen as a Project Manager and Early Career Program Associate - Product. Currently, they are a Delivery Manager at NextUp Solutions, where they work to optimize solution delivery by working directly with clients and developers, and serves as a mentor and resource to student development engineers.
Anjali Shingala obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2019.
