Tamas Horvath

Tamas Horvath has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tamas is currently working at Nexus Group – Global as an Innovation IoT Security Subject Matter Expert PKI since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Product Owner for IoT at the same company starting from January 2018. From January 2015 to December 2017, Tamas worked as a Senior Technical Account Manager at Nexus Group – Global. Tamas also had a long tenure at the company from October 2005 to December 2014, where they served as a Product Manager and Sales Engineer.

Before joining Nexus Group, Tamas worked as a PKI Consultant at D-Trust GmbH, a subsidiary of Bundesdruckerei, from January 2004 to September 2005. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at secunet Security Networks AG from September 1997 to December 2003. Tamas also worked as a Security Consultant at TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH (Member of TÜV NORD GROUP) from March 1997 to August 1997.

Tamas began their professional journey as a Research Assistant and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Essen, Institute for Experimental Mathematics, where they conducted research in cryptography. Tamas also worked on an industry project involving the security protocol design of an RFID transportation card. Tamas'sPh.D. thesis focused on the design of a symmetric cryptosystem and high-speed arithmetic design for stream ciphers. Tamas was associated with the university from March 1993 to February 1997.

Prior to their academic pursuits, Tamas worked as a Software Developer at Microsystem from an unknown start date to October 1991.

Tamas Horvath has a solid educational background. Tamas began their education in 1983 at the Technical University of Budapest, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering from 1988 to 1990.

Afterward, Tamas pursued their interest in Artificial Intelligence at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. Tamas obtained a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from 1991 to 1993. This expanded their knowledge and expertise in the field.
