Joshua M.

Joshua M. has a diverse work experience in engineering and software development. In 2022, they began working as a Robotics Engineer for Neya Systems. Prior to that, they were an AR/VR Lab Support Engineer for Q Analysts from 2021. In 2021, they were an Entrepenurial Capstone Team Member for Cyberworks Robotics Inc., where they developed safety standards and improved navigation of a self-driving autonomous wheelchair. Joshua also worked as a Software Development Engineer for the University of Washington STAR Lab, where they were responsible for full-stack web development of an app that receives, analyzes, and displays sensor data for a project aiming to improve road safety in Norway. From 2016 to 2021, Joshua M. was a Transportation Implementation Planning Intern for the City of Bellevue, Washington, where they designed a database to store budget information for new infrastructure and developed a standalone desktop app in C# to instantly perform cross-platform budget calculations. Joshua also helped deliver a comprehensive civil rights training for city staff.

Joshua M. began their education in 2017, earning an Associate of Science in Engineering from Bellevue College. Joshua then continued their studies at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2022.
