Samir Awasthi

Samir Awasthi has extensive experience in the field of clinical research. Samir started their career as a Resident Physician at Harvard Medical School in 2015 and worked there until 2019. Samir then joined nference, where they held various roles including Principal Clinical Investigator, Head of Clinical Research, and Senior Director. At nference, they utilized artificial intelligence software to extract knowledge from biomedical literature. Currently, Samir is serving as the VP of Clinical Research at Anumana, Inc.

Samir Awasthi completed their Psychiatry Residency Program at Harvard Medical School from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Ph.D. and M.D. in Biomedical Engineering - Biophotonics from the University of California, Davis from 2007 to 2015. Samir also holds a B.Sc. and M.Eng. in Physics and Biomedical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2002 to 2007.
