Maria Rainwater

Maria Rainwater has extensive experience in the nursing field, focusing primarily on psychiatric and substance abuse care. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at UMMS since September 2017 and at NFI North, Inc. since December 2016, Maria has dedicated much of their career to adolescent inpatient psychiatric care. Prior to these roles, experience includes positions as a Registered Nurse at UMass Memorial Medical Center, providing adult inpatient psychiatric care, and as a Staff RN at Community Healthlink Inc., specializing in detox nursing. Early in the career, Maria worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., addressing substance abuse issues. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State University and a Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Quinsigamond Community College.
