Derek Slaney

Derek Slaney is an experienced Senior Developer with a focus on mobile and desktop applications, currently working at nfoldROI Group of Companies since August 2013, specializing in R&D within the GIS domain. Prior to this role, Derek spent over 17 years at Topical Software in various capacities, including mobile and desktop application development, requirements analysis, app design, and project management, alongside extensive desktop software development using C++. Derek's early career included a significant tenure at the Civil Aviation Authority, where responsibilities encompassed electrical system design and contract management for critical power supply systems. Academic qualifications include a Grad Dip in Computing from Melbourne University and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
