Markus Stumpf has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President of Platform Architecture at NFON AG since November 2010, alongside previous roles as Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations and Senior Infrastructure Architect and Management. Prior to NFON AG, Markus worked as a freelancer from October 2006 to October 2010 and held significant positions at SpaceNet AG from July 1996 to September 2006, including Director of Research and Development and Director of SpaceWeb. As the founder of LEO.org from 1992 to 1996 and a freelance consultant at /dev Software GmbH in 1993, Markus has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Academic qualifications include a MD in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a background in education from the Technical University of Munich and Gymnasium Landau(Isar).
