Hamid Abuzaid

Hamid Abuzaid, MPH, CSP, serves as Vice President at NFP since June 2019, leading the Occupational Health and Safety & Risk Control team to deliver health, safety, risk management, and sustainability services on a national and global scale. In addition, Hamid holds the role of Public Health and Safety Expert and Site Visitor for the Institutional Biosafety Committee with WIRB-Copernicus Group since June 2016, advocating for community health and environmental protection. Prior experience includes senior roles at GCG Risk Management and the New York State Department of Health, where expertise in environmental public health, compliance, and safety management was developed. Hamid's educational background encompasses a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources & Environmental Studies from the University of Juba.
