Seraj Dicks

Seraj Dicks has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. From 1997 to 1999, Seraj worked for BP, where they held roles such as Back Office Support Specialist and Retail Automation Specialist. From 2000 to 2003, they continued working with BP as a Technology Engineer and Retail IT Service Delivery Manager. In 2008, Seraj joined Total as a Systems Integration Manager. Seraj then worked at Shell as a Global Application Delivery Analyst and Applications Support Manager from 2011 to 2016. After that, Seraj worked at UCSTS as a Senior Project Manager. From 2016 to 2019, they were employed by Spur Corporation as an Information System Manager. Seraj then joined Altron Systems Integration, where they held various roles including IT Operations Manager, HOD IT Applications, and Head of Delivery- DevOps Professional Services. Most recently, Seraj has been working at MRI Software as Head of Product Development and Director of Platform X Portals and Global Product Development. In 2023, Seraj will be joining NFS Technology as a Senior Director of Product (Software Development).

Seraj Dicks has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. In 1996, they obtained a Certificate in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Computer Career Training Centre. From 1999 to 2002, they pursued an NDiploma in Advanced Business Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology, at the Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology.

In 2000 and 2001, Seraj obtained a Pink Elephant certification in ITIL V1, focusing on IT Service Management. In 2003, they received a Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Seraj then pursued an Advanced Diploma in Project & Programme Management NQF 7 at Cranefield College from 2007 to 2009. In 2011 and 2012, they obtained a Diploma in Business Analysis from the Faculty Training Institute.

Seraj furthered their education in project management by completing a PostGrad degree in Project & Programme Management NQF 8 at Cranefield College from 2015 to 2017.

More recently, in 2019, Seraj attended the Stellenbosch Business School and completed the SMDP NQF8 program, specializing in Organizational Leadership.

Aside from their formal education, Seraj has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they acquired the Scrum Fundamentals Certified credential from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the DevOps-Executive certification from the International DevOps Certification Academy. Additionally, in November 2020, Seraj became an AWS Solutions Architect Associate after completing the relevant training at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Most recently, in August 2023, Seraj received the Product Management Basics Certification from Pendo.io.
