Matt Medved has a diverse work experience spanning various media and content roles. Matt'smost recent position is as the Co-Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief at nft now, a web3 digital media platform focusing on tokenized media. Prior to this, they served as the SVP of Content at Modern Luxury, where they oversaw digital content and strategy for over 85 brands and helped launch the 'Edition' multimedia platform. Matt also worked as the Editor-in-Chief at SPIN, leading content and strategy for the music and culture publication. At Billboard, they founded Billboard Dance and served as the Director of Dance/Electronic Programming. Matt Medved attended Northwestern University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism, Political Science, and Creative Writing. Matt then enrolled in The George Washington University Law School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree focusing on Law. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Affairs with a specialization in Conflict Resolution at the Elliott School of International Affairs. In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained a certification in Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies from Università Bocconi in July 2020. Matt also earned a certification in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford in 2011, although the exact month is unknown.
