Luke Griffiths is a Senior Engineer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, specializing in subsurface characterization projects for offshore wind, geological carbon storage, and extra-terrestrial ISRU since March 2018. Previously, Luke served as a Project Engineer focused on geoengineering applications and as a Postdoctoral Researcher investigating induced seismicity and geomechanics for carbon capture and storage. Luke's earlier experience includes a PhD project on thermal microcracking in rock at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Strasbourg, and internships in geophysics and experimental studies with Total E&P UK Limited and Moscow State University. Luke holds an engineering degree in Geophysics and Seismology from EOST, Strasbourg, and a preparatory degree in Mathematics and Physics from Lycée Kérichen, Brest.
