Richard Hewitt

Richard Hewitt has extensive work experience in the field of surveying and real estate. Richard currently holds the position of Principal Technical Specialist at NHBC, starting in November 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Building Surveyor at NHBC from July 2018. Before joining NHBC, Richard worked at North Devon District Council as a Senior Surveyor from January 2010 to August 2015. Richard started their career at Underwoods Estate Agents as a Sales Negotiator and Trainee Surveyor from June 2002 to October 2004. Richard also gained experience at Turners Estate Agents, where they worked as a Senior Sales Negotiator, Sales Negotiator, and Trainee Estate Agent from July 1999 to June 2002.

Richard Hewitt attended Tudor Grange School in Solihull from 1991 to 1996, where they completed their high school education. Richard then went on to study at the University College of Estate Management from 2002 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Building Surveying.
