Calum Farquharson

Multimedia Communications Manager at NHS 24

Calum Farquharson is an experienced Multimedia Communications Manager at NHS 24, responsible for national digital health campaigns and strategic internal communications. Previously, Calum served as a Digital Engagement Officer, handling video editing, podcast production, graphic design, and social media management. In addition, Calum works as a Music Plus Mentor for the Scottish Music Centre, providing one-on-one mentoring to young musicians. As a Freelance Audio Engineer since 2013, Calum has produced high-quality audio for various clients, including BBC Scotland and independent artists. Calum also serves as General Manager for the instrumental rock band A Sudden Burst of Colour, overseeing social media, graphic design, and event management. Calum holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Music Technology from the University of the West of Scotland and a Modern Apprenticeship Diploma in Creative & Digital Media from Glasgow Kelvin College.
