Miriam Watts

Miriam Watts is an accomplished healthcare professional with a robust management background in emergency care and hospice services. Currently serving as the General Manager of Emergency Care at NHS Fife since February 2019, Miriam previously held managerial positions such as Hospice Manager at Marie Curie UK and Head of Clinical Services & Deputy Chief Executive at St Andrew's Hospice in Lanarkshire. With extensive experience at Spire Healthcare Group plc, including roles as Head of Clinical Services and Theatre Manager, Miriam has developed significant expertise in clinical management. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Positive Leadership Practice from Edinburgh Napier University and a BSc in Specialist Nursing - Anaesthetics and Recovery from Glasgow Caledonian University, complemented by a BA in Nursing Studies from Queen Margaret University.
