Alison Morrow-Nicolson

Alison Morrow-Nicolson currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Behaviour Change Education at The University of Manchester, beginning in January 2024. In parallel, Alison works as an Applied Psychologist with NHS Lothian, focusing on Pain Management and Plastic Surgery since November 2022. Prior roles include Trainee Health Psychologist at NHS Fife, Visiting Scholar at the University of St Andrews, NES Representative for the Division of Health Psychology - Scotland, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. Alison has held managerial positions in community health initiatives and coordinated stroke recovery services, showcasing a strong background in health psychology and behaviour change. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Health Psychology and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Stirling, as well as a Stage 2 Qualification in Health Psychology from The British Psychological Society.
