Michael Schwartz

Michael Schwartz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over four decades. Michael started their career in 1978 as a Hardware Engineer at Kennedy Company and then worked as a System Engineer at Singer Librascope from 1981 to 1983. From 1983 to 1991, Michael served as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Apple. In 1996, they joined Morgan & Finnegan as an Associate and later worked at Swidler Berlin as Of Counsel from 2000 to 2006. Michael then joined Bingham McCutchen as Of Counsel from 2006 to 2008 before moving to Murphy & King, Professional Corporation. At Murphy & King, they held the role of Of Counsel from 2008 to 2013. Since 2013, Michael has been associated with Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where they started as Counsel and gained significant experience in intellectual property law. Currently, Michael is serving as the Chief General Counsel at ni2o, a position they took up in August 2021.

Michael Schwartz obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, where they attended from 1974 to 1978. Michael then pursued further education at The George Washington University Law School, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree between 1991 and 1994.
