Oliver Welter has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 2004, they worked as an IT Administrator at Juwelier Deus. Oliver then transitioned into the role of a Studentische Hilfskraft at Lehrstuhl für künstliche Intelligenz Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in 2008 and again in 2009. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Web Developer at Heartbooker GmbH. In 2010, Oliver joined PPI AG - Products as a Senior Software Engineer. Oliver then moved on to become a Software Architekt at GfK nurago GmbH in 2012. Oliver Welter later joined caresyntax in 2014, where they held positions as Head of Software Research & Development and Chief Technology Officer. In 2018, they co-founded Nia Health GmbH. Oliver has also been the recipient of the EXIST Business Start-Up Grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy at Charité from 2019 to 2021. Throughout their career, Oliver has demonstrated expertise in software development, research, and leadership roles.
Oliver Welter completed their education at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Informatik with a minor in BWL.
In terms of additional certifications, Oliver earned the following:
- In June 2011, they became certified as an LPIC-1 by the Linux Professional Institute.
- In July 2012, they received the iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture certification from iSQI GmbH.
- In December 2015, they became an ICPMSB® Certified Professional for Medical Software Foundation Level, also from iSQI GmbH.
- In June 2016, Oliver obtained the LPIC-2 certification from the Linux Professional Institute, as well as the Safety Officer for Medical Devices certification from ec eichhorst consulting.
- In November 2017, they obtained the Medical Devices Consultant certification from TÜV SüD.
- In June 2020, Oliver completed the following four certifications from Coursera: "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Convolutional Neural Networks."
- Finally, in May 2021, they achieved the LPIC-3: 305 (Virtualization) certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
