Nancy Kelsey

Nancy Kelsey currently serves as the Senior Manager of Social Media at Nia Tero and as a Community Columnist for Cleveland.com. Previously, Nancy worked as a Communications Consultant and Communications and Community Relations Director for the Mental Health, Addiction, and Recovery Services (MHARS) Board of Lorain County. Nancy also held various roles at the City of Cleveland - City Hall, including Special Assistant to the Mayor and Assistant Director of Communications, where responsibilities included developing communications plans and staffing media interviews. Earlier experiences include serving as a Communications Coordinator at Cleveland State University, an Online Communications Coordinator at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and an Editor for Patch.com. Additionally, Nancy has been involved with the Native American Journalists Association as a board member and has experience in audio reporting with Native American Public Telecommunications. Educational qualifications include a BA in Journalism from Creighton University and an MA in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
