Alesha Unpingco

Alesha Unpingco is a seasoned UX design leader currently serving as the Staff UX Design Lead & Senior Manager at Niantic, Inc., focusing on utilizing augmented reality to promote outdoor activities and community connections. Prior experience includes roles at Apple as a Design Manager & Lead in AR/VR, where Alesha contributed to the Technology Development Group and built a team dedicated to solving complex design challenges. At Google, Alesha served as the Social UX Design Lead for Stadia and held various UX design positions, developing user experiences for VR tools and collaborating with partners to enhance first-party products. Previous roles include Experience Director at Enrou, User Experience Designer at RPA, and a founding fellow at the UCLA Volunteer Center, showcasing a strong commitment to community service and innovative design. Alesha holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from UCLA and has further education from UCLA Extension.
