Olli-Pekka Korhonen has extensive work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Olli-Pekka is currently the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at the Nordic Investment Bank, where they are responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and leading the IT infra team. Their main goals include maintaining a stable infrastructure and developing it to meet the bank's current and future business needs. Some notable projects they have been involved in include data center strategy transformation, O365 roll-out, cloud adoption journey, and enhancing IT security. Olli-Pekka has also worked at Atea Finland Oy as a Manager for the Operations Center and as a Service Manager in the Infra Service organization. Olli-Pekka has experience in monitoring and addressing server and network device issues, as well as managing services for midsize customers. Prior to that, Olli-Pekka worked at Capgemini as a Service Delivery Manager and Continuous Service Improvement Manager, overseeing multiple contracts and improving incident management practices. Olli-Pekka also held positions at Aalto University as a Course Assistant and at Digia as a Software Developer, working with technologies such as .NET and C#. Olli-Pekka started their career as a Software Developer at Sito Oy.
Olli-Pekka Korhonen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Software Engineering and Business with a minor in Strategic Management (Industrial Engineering) from Aalto University in 2010. Olli-Pekka then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (MSe) degree in the same fields from Aalto University starting from 2010. Prior to that, they studied at Helsingin matematiikkalukio from 2000 to 2003, without obtaining a degree. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including ITIL 4 Managing Professional, SIAM Foundation, ITIL (2011) MALC (ITIL Expert), and others.
