Marten van der Meijden possesses extensive experience in procurement and vendor management across various sectors. Currently serving as Expert Lead Procurement & Vendor Management at NIBC Bank since June 2024, Marten is focused on establishing and guiding a new Procurement & Vendor Management team while enhancing stakeholder relations. Prior roles include Procurement Manager at NIBC Bank, overseeing procurement activities for IT, Facilities, Real Estate, and Professional Services, and Procurement & Facility Manager at Nidera, managing all non-trade procurement. Additional experiences include positions as Senior Buyer Services at Achmea, Procurement Advisor for Gemeente Utrechtse Heuvelrug, and various consultancy roles. Education includes degrees in Facility Management and European Procurement from NEVI and The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Marten is also active in the cultural sector as a trainer and actor.
