Tannaz A. Ashrafi

Tannaz A. Ashrafi has extensive work experience in various research and academic roles. Tannaz started working as a Researcher at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway in March 2016 and continued in this role until May 2022. In September 2016, Tannaz also began working as a PHD Candidate at the same institution, completing the position in May 2022. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, Tannaz commenced in June 2021 and is currently still employed in this role. In December 2020, Tannaz took on the role of University Lecturer at HHT– School of Business and Economics, serving until April 2021. Beginning in May 2022, Tannaz started working as an Agricultural Research Economist at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research.

Tannaz A. Ashrafi pursued their education in chronological order, beginning with a Master's degree in Social Economics from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, which they completed in 2015. Afterward, they attended the University of Calgary, where they focused on Fisheries Economics and graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2018.
