Lotte Van Dillen is a Full Professor and Director of Research at the Psychology Institute of Leiden University, where Lotte has been involved in academia since July 2010. As an Associate Professor in the section of social, economic, and organisational psychology, Lotte's research centers on the interplay between cognition and affect and its impact on decision-making. Lotte also contributes as a Researcher and Advisor at the Knowledge Centre for Psychology and Economic Behaviour, as Deputy Director at the Academie voor Wetgeving, and as a Teacher at both the Studiecentrum Rechtspleging and Nibud. Previous roles include a Visiting Researcher at New York University, a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiteit Utrecht, and a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Lotte holds a PhD in social psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MSc in social psychology from the University of Amsterdam.
