William Burress

William Burress has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. William began their career in 1999 as a Technical Support/Computer Repair Technician at Lebanon Mobile Fone. William then worked as a Network Cabling Technician at KIT Network Cabling in 2002. Following this, they served as a Fixed Wireless Broadband Network Engineer at Lebanon Mobile Fone and also as a Broadband Technical Support at Earthlink Inc. in 2003.

In 2004, William joined JPL Productions as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for managing a mixed Mac/Windows AD environment and implementing various solutions. William also took on the role of System Administrator at Clark Associates, overseeing corporate systems, managing the Helpdesk, and implementing standards and practices.

In 2012, William worked as a System Administrator at Hair Direct, handling IT initiatives, project management, and custom software support. William then joined Lancaster Archery Supply in 2014 as an Application Analyst, where they were responsible for business reporting, developing project management processes, and maintaining custom software solutions.

William's most recent position was as a Senior Software Developer at NIC Inc., which they started in 2015. Here, they were responsible for the development and lifecycle of state government sponsored applications, utilizing various technology stacks.

Throughout their career, William has demonstrated their expertise in system administration, network engineering, software development, project management, and technical support.

William Burress has a diverse education history. William attended Cedar Crest High School from 1995 to 1999 and received a Diploma. In 1998 and 1999, they pursued a Computer Information Technology (CIT) Certification at the Lebanon Country Career and Technology Center. In 2001, they enrolled in Berks Technical Institute and graduated in 2003 with an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Specialized Technology. The same year, William also obtained various certifications in Microsoft and Cisco Technologies from Computer Training.com.

In 2012, they furthered their knowledge in Vsphere 5 by completing a course at VMWare.com. Additionally, William holds several certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and certifications in BCNE, MCP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and VMWare.
