Eric Borges

Eric Borges serves as the General Manager of Farming Operations at Nichols Farms since April 2021, overseeing pistachio and almond farming operations in Fresno, Kings, and Tulare Counties. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Innovation Engineering in the Ice Cream Division at Nestle USA from January 2018 to October 2020, where Eric was a subject matter expert and technical resource for business and technical projects. Extensive tenure at Nestle Dreyer's Ice Cream Company from April 1996 to December 2017 involved responsibilities as Factory Engineering Manager, managing engineering and maintenance activities and contributing significantly to safety and resource conservation. Earlier roles include Manager of Manufacturing Services at the Tulare Haagen Dazs Plant and Purchasing Agent for Maintenance and Engineering at Dairyman's Co-Op Creamery. Eric Borges holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, obtained between 1984 and 1987.
