Ben Bauer

Ben Bauer is an experienced attorney and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, focusing on Legal Research and Writing and Law in Practice Programs since August 2023. Ben has been with Nichols Kaster, PLLP since February 2019, where responsibilities include litigating complex class action cases to empower individuals against large entities. Previous roles include Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Thomas Fraser in the Minnesota Judicial Branch and legal internships at the ACLU of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. Ben's diverse background also features leadership positions in education, including Director of Operations at Hiawatha Academies and roles with Teach For America as a Corps Member and Corps Member Advisor, emphasizing commitment to educational equity and community service. Ben earned a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint John's University.
