Nicklas Kevin Frank

Nicklas Kevin Frank is a senior fullstack developer at Nicklas Kevin Frank. Nicklas has previously worked as a web developer at Mybanker and as a senior web developer at Aller Media A/S.

Frank has a wide range of experience in development and maintenance, including working on 10+ different brand sites such as Se og Hør, Billedbladet, Femina, and many more. Nicklas is skilled in migrating sites towards a service architecture based on Laravel and a more modern content management solution.

One of Frank's first big projects was optimising the Se og Hør website running an older, heavily modified, Drupal installation. Using modern image delivery techniques and completely re-implementing key bottlenecks in content structure and ads-handling, The average load time went from 15 seconds to just below 2 seconds. All while still being run from the original 15-year-old Drupal installation.

Frank's responsibilities have ranged wide from conceptualising to architecting and eventual implementation. Nicklas has done full-stack work with everything from AWS to frontend development. Besides brand sites, they have also developed a wide range of editor facing (internal) systems allowing editors to be the most productive in writing and managing content.

Frank studied at the Zealand - Sjællands Erhvervsakademi, where they attained an Academy Profession Degree in Computer Science (Datamatiker). Nicklas also took Higher Technical Examination (HTX) courses in Mathematics A, Physics A, and Philosophy C at VEC North-West Zealand (EUCNVS/Slotshaven).
