Marcos Mestre

Marcos Mestre is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Nicklaus Children's Health System. Marcos has been with Nicklaus Children's Hospital since July 2003, where they began as a Pediatric Hospitalist. In February 2005, they were promoted to their current position.

Prior to joining Nicklaus Children's Health System, Dr. Mestre was a Pediatric Resident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2000 to June 2003.

Marcos Mestre has an Executive MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami.

Marcos Mestre works with Elizabeth Menocal - VP, Clinical Affairs, Shannon Odell - VP, Chief Nursing Officer & Patient Safety Officer, and Iris Berges - VP, Operations & Clinical Services. Their manager is Perry Ann Reed, SVP & COO, Nicklaus Children's Health System & President, Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
