Brian Ward, CSCP, CSCMP has held various roles in the supply chain and operations field since 2003. Starting in 2003, they were an Engine Mechanic at Ward's Marine, where they repaired ATV, snowmobile, and boats in a family-owned dealership, as well as assisting with sales in-house and at trade shows. In 2006, they moved to Rockwell Automation, where they held the roles of Associate Buyer, Materials Planner, and Buyer. At Rockwell Automation, they sourced material in ETO business from engineer blue prints, set up multiple sources to ensure continuous supply and competitive pricing, and promoted and developed suppliers to ensure continuous improvements. In 2008, they moved to Modatek Systems - part of Cosma International Group of Magna International, where they held the roles of Materials Coordinator and Senior Material Coordinator. At Modatek Systems, they created and scheduled cost-efficient workforce plans to meet customer/production/vacation and department budget needs, spearheaded a project that consolidated shipping between two Magna plants, and trained, developed and provided leadership to new recruits. In 2012, they moved to Miovision, where they held the roles of Supply Chain Lead, Manufacturing Operations Manager, and Director, Supply Chain and Operations. At Miovision, they created the vision and execution strategy for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments, aligned strategy between Manufacturing and Supply Chain, resulting in a 50% reduction of on-hand inventory, 30% increase of on-time shipping, and 9% cost reduction, created and scaled a framework for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Hardware Engineering departments to work together as a cohesive team, and lead key initiatives to improve product quality and customer experience. In 2018, they moved to Nicoya, where they held the roles of VP Operations and Director, Production and Supply Chain.

Brian Ward, CSCP, CSCMP has obtained a Business Administration - Supply Chain & Operations Management degree from Conestoga College between 2005 and 2008. In 2012 and 2013, they obtained a CSCP - Certified Supply Chain Professional designation from APICS Northern Colorado. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained a CSCMP - Supply Chain Management Professional designation from Supply Chain Canada. Additionally, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Conestoga College in April 2008, Leadership Training from Dale Carnegie Training in June 2016, and Vitality At Work (executive leadership training) from The Kirwin Group in February 2016. Brian is currently pursuing an MBA core curriculum from the University of Maryland, which they started in 2020.
